OLIV was born as a fictional premium olive oil brand inspired by Mediterranean tradition. The goal was to create an identity that balanced heritage and contemporaneity, without falling into rustic clichés or impersonal minimalism.
The challenge was simple, but demanding: give visual form to tradition — with sophistication and intention.
The process started on paper, with hand-drawn lettering. I wanted the logo to have fluidity, like a thread of olive oil dripping — organic, natural and authentic.
From there, I built a visual system based on Mediterranean tones, minimalist composition and sensory photography, valuing the raw material and table rituals.
Each element was designed to reinforce the brand's origin and premium positioning.
The result is an elegant and timeless identity. OLIV communicates tradition without looking dated, and modernity without losing authenticity.
